Its been a bit since the last news update, but We've been busy. Recruitment is at an all time high, corp membership stands currently at 22, but there isn't any sign of us stopping soon. We've started weekly PVP ops and are starting to meet with some success, last week we got a Harbinger and an Ishkur. We've also ramped up efforts in corp to get regular scheduled activities rolling thanks to our new Mission Leader Hevule and Mining Foreman Daximus Prime. On Saturday 05/02/09 we had a record setting mining op lead by Mining Foreman Daximus Prime. We had a turnout of 16 people in fleet at our peak and after mining Veld, Scord, and Plag for about 3.5 hours, we came up with a total of over 175 Million ISK. After the corp share of 10% each particiapant brought home over 12 Million ISK individually. Was a great op, and there is now an album Here of several screenshots of the op.
Corp operations are now back in full swing in the Sinq Laison region. we are back in full operation and re-manning some of our offices that had previously been left collecting dust in our corp hangers. We've already gotten underway with corporate mining and mission ops with PvP ops to come underway shortly if all goes as planed. Almost time to start the big recruitment drive. Things are looking great for the corp. Now is good time to be a Wolf-Monkey Bastard and I can think of no better time to hop aboard. -Al
Unfortunately the fun times in Beke are over. When confronted by the combined threat from the Chain of Chaos alliance and the United Pod Service alliance, the commanders in the Beke Consortium could not maintain a stable chain of command, could not marshall a formidable defense, and could not get such simple concepts as setting pos guns to not fire on blues. Because of these mistakes and many others the situation in Beke has deteriorated completely. WMB has pulled down its tower in Beke before giving the CoC and UPS a chance to take it down, and not allowing the Consortium the chance to mount a half-hearted, ill organized defensive that would just get more ships blown up. The Defcon-Zero alliance has disbanded, with most of the alliance either absorbing into the Draig corporation or joining into the new alliance being headed by Draig. Though WMB would love to stick with our brothers in arms and join Draig's new alliance Puppy Processing Plant, we feel it is in the best interest of the continuation of the corp to relocate back to Sinq for now. So, now, the carebears that went into Genesis are now returning to Sinq as hardened men and we once again take to the skies in search of good fights, profit, and new members that would make a good fit with WMB. We will soon be starting regular corp operations in the region again as well as hardcore recruitment drives. -Al

Merry Christmas to you all out there. There has been a lot going on in the WMB camp. We have been a part of a multitude of small encounters in Beke, plenty of pvp to be had. Also all our industrialists and miners have been having the time of their lives with the plentiful belts in the area and the open research and manufacturing slots. -Al
Wolf-Monkey Bastard's application into the Defcon-Zero alliance has been accepted and now we are moving operations down to the Beke system in the Genesis region. Wolf-Monkey Bastards has shown our commitment to the this new alliance and the defense of the region by on-lining a Player Owned Station on one of the moons. The station is a defensive platform with a wide array of guns and shields to help defend the space. The station also provides Wolf-Monkey Bastards with a place to store lots of goods and ships, and a multitude of open research slots. Also, as suspected with living in a low sec system there is plenty of pvp to be had, so, that is definitely a plus.

Due in part to the actions of the friendly Defcon alliance in the Pashanai area and the brave fighting of the WMB and Draig fleets LineRider has called off the war. We took a few hits, lost a few ships, but all in all we definitely came out of this one knowing more about pvp than before and now we are presented with a new opportunity. We have decided to follow Draig and become a part of the Defcon-Zero Alliance located out of Beke. The next bit will be hard as we prepare to move our assets and operations out of the Sinq-Laison area and into Genesis low-sec. -Al
Due to to a threat presented upon our friends in the Draig corporation, Wolf-Monkey Bastards have officially declared war upon the LineRider corporation. This war will be interesting, tough, and will provide the Wolf-Monkey Bastards with a great opportunity to learn more about fleet action pvp and expand our experience in this area. Look forward to some good fights and fun pvp to be had by all. We are also looking forward to cultivating our friendship with Draig and possibly other corps that are operating out of their area. -Al
The last week has seen several successes for the WMB Corp, in addition to our new recruits (mentioned earlier) and our successful mining operation, the corp has also run successful mission operations in the past week. The social community of the corp has also started to come alive with the newest recruits finding their home in our corp community, and breathing life into our once sterile forums. Glad to have everyone aboard, and for any of you who are reading this and thinking about the corp, we would love to hear from you and possibly welcome you into our community. - Al
Last night saw the first organized mining op for the corp. After about only 2.5 hours of mining, and a corp wide industrial hauling effort, those that participated in the mining operation received an equal share of the profits, somewhere around 10M, as well as the corp receiving its standard 10% tax from the operation. This successful operation holds good portents for the future of the corps operations. Look for more success to come out of Wolf-Monkey Bastards in any of the operations that we do

Today the directors of WMB established the corp under Alazontez Gallenteur's alt character,Allia Zonte, in preparation for the transition between corps. The founders of WMB transfer their ambitions and aspirations into this newest incarnation of the organization. WMB embodies these hopes and aspirations, and will someday be the location from which the founders can realize their dreams in the galaxy of New Eden. This is just the first step in what will become a long and fruitful history for the Wolf-Monkey Bastards and its members.
